The State Bar of Arizona is planning a CLE seminar titled Why Put Off for Tomorrow What You Should Do Today? A Seminar on Disaster Preparedness.
The program will take place on Friday, January 25 from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the State Bar of Arizona Southern Regional Office, 320 South Convent Avenue, Tucson, AZ.
Attendees will learn about business community management issues and how to plan for disruptions due to natural or man-made disasters or illness. The course also will focus on issues relating to pandemic influenza, including legal issues that will likely arise, as well as provide tools and strategies to plan for law practice and private life.
Issues to be covered include: factors to consider in planning to avoid pandemonium in the wake of catastrophe disruptions; how to prepare your practice, your family and yourself for the aftermath of catastrophic disruptions to your practice and the justice system; the impact of disaster on personnel and human resources, and legal issues expected to arise, including constitutional issues, liability issues and public health law issues.
