The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis this month will present a full-day Corporate Counsel Institute.

The event will take place on Wednesday, May 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. at the Frontenac Hilton Hotel, 1335 South Lindbergh Boulevard, St. Louis. A reception will follow.

Speakers will address topics such as: International Law Matters, including ITAR; Labor and Employment Law Update; Eminent Domain and Land Use Issues; Planning, Reconstruction and Effects of the Highway 40 Shutdown; Current Issues in Attorney-Client Privilege Protection and Erosion; Intellectual Asset Management; Legal Cost Management, and Personal Liability and Ethical Responsibilities of Corporate Counsel.

Among the speakers will be James N. Foster Jr., McMahon Berger Hanna Linihan Cody & McCarthy PC; Susan Hackett, senior vice president, general counsel and assistant secretary, Association of Corporate Counsel, and Carol A. Needham, professor, St. Louis University School of Law.
