Southern California ACCA To Honor Women Who Have Made A Difference

ACColades-A Salute to Women Who Inspire Us is the title of the fifth annual Southern California ACCA dinner that celebrates women who have made a difference in their community and profession.

The dinner will take place from 6:30to 8:30 p.m. at the historic Fox Studio Commissary, located at 10201 W. Pico Blvd., Los Angeles.

The honorees are Judy Vaughn, the founder of Alexandria House, a nonprofit transitional residence and house of hospitality that provides safe housing for women and children, and Dr. Raquel Aries, a onetime San Joaquin Valley farmworker who has risen to become a top surgeon at the USC school of medicine and the director of USC's Breast Diagnostic Center.

The program will include a tour of the studio grounds and the opportunity to sample beers from around the world.
