On Wednesday, April 16, the South/Central Texas Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel will host an Ask a Lawyer pro bono event in conjunction with the Texas C-Bar.
The two-hour event, from 6 to 8 p.m., will take place at a central San Antonio, TX location to be announced.
Representatives from nonprofit organizations will have the opportunity to have ACC volunteers address questions on transactional issues focusing on in-house topics such as contract creation and negotiation, labor and employment, and real estate transactions.
Chapter volunteers will be divided by area of expertise and the nonprofit representatives will be able to identify the most appropriate attorneys to handle their issues. The chapter hopes to attract at least 40 volunteers for the event.
