On Friday, January 15, the South Carolina Bar will offer a program titled Gain the Edge! Negotiating Strategies for Lawyers & Business Professionals.
The CLE session begins at 8:30 a.m. and will end by 5:00 p.m. and is located at the South Carolina Hospital Associations, Wm. L. Yates Conference Center, 1000 Center Point Road, Columbia.
Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of negotiations as a necessary part of everyday life as a lawyer. Attorneys and business people negotiate every day, so the ability to effectively negotiate is the most critical skill an attorney can possess.
The seminar will be presented by Marty Latz, renowned negotiation expert and founder of Latz Negotiation Institute. Mr. Latz will teach Latz's five golden rules of negotiation and discuss a variety of topics that will include his top 15 effective negotiation techniques.
