Latham & Watkins LLP1 is pleased to announce that Simon Skinner will join the firm’s London office as a partner in the Tax Department. Skinner advises clients on a variety of complex corporate tax and corporate tax planning matters, including the tax aspects of corporate finance and private equity transactions, public and private M&A, demergers, joint ventures, restructurings, and debt and equity capital markets transactions.

Skinner represents public companies, institutional investors, founders, and management teams across the full spectrum of transactional tax matters. He also counsels individuals and boards on complex tax disputes and other domestic and international tax advisory projects.

Skinner joins Latham & Watkins from Travers Smith. He received a BA in Law from the University of Cambridge before completing his LPC at the College of Law.
