Session Will Examine Ethics Issues Faced By Environmental Lawyers

The Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) is planning a CLE seminar titled Professional Responsibility and the Environmental Lawyer: A Hazardous Combination?

The program will take place on Thursday, December 13 from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. at the LACBA Conference Center, 281 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles.

Noted legal experts on professional responsibility, ethics, and environmental law will lead an interactive session on ethical issues that environmental lawyers confront in their practice. A brief review of rules and cases will be followed by a roundtable discussion of some hypothetical situations. Attendees are strongly encouraged to participate and contribute their comments and opinions.

Speakers will include James M. Fischer, Southwestern Law School; Vincent M. Gonzales, legal department, Sempra Energy, and Sean B. Hecht, UCLA School of Law.
