Seminar Will Review Tax Issues

The Iowa State Bar Association Taxation Section will present its 68th Bloethe Tax School.

The conference will take place Wednesday-Friday, December 5-7 at the Des Moines Downtown Marriott, 700 Grand Avenue, Des Moines, IA. Sessions will run from 1 to 5:30 p.m. on day one, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on day two, and from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on day three.

Panelists will examine topics such as: Tax Manual; Iowa Tax Update; Federal Tax Update; 1031 Tips, Tricks & Traps; Multi-State K-1 Issues - Partnerships and S Corporations; IRS Update & Remarks, and Retirement Plan Distribution Planning.

Among the speakers are Neil Harl, professor, Iowa State University; Orville Bloethe, Bloethe Law Firm; James Niblock, Brown, Winick, Graves, Gross, Baskerville & Schoenebaum, PLC, and Mark Schuling, director, Iowa Department of Revenue & Finance.
