The New York County Lawyers' Association (NYCLA) is planning a CLE seminar titled Mediation in Securities Cases.
The program will take place on Thursday, July 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the NYCLA Home of Law, 14 Vesey St, New York City.
This program will provide participants with an overview of the mediation process in securities cases. Participants will be walked through the mediation process with focus on the decisions that need to be made, including: selection of an appropriate mediator, how and when to present information, and the strategies employed during the mediation. The program will also address the benefits and risks of mediating.
Speakers will be Dominick F. Evangelista and Matthew F. Plant, Bressler, Amery & Ross P.C.
