Seminar Will Review Rules Governing Tax Professionals

The Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) will present a CLE program titled Laws and Regulations Addressing Practice Standards of Tax Professionals - Make Sure You Get the Update: What You Don't Know Can Hurt You.

The session will take place on Monday, January 7 from noon to 2 p.m. at The Olympic Collection, 11301 Olympic Boulevard, Los Angeles. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m.

Panelists will discuss recent developments related to Circular 230, as well as tax preparer penalties under IRC Section 6694. Offered from the perspectives of the legal and accounting professions, the presentation is designed for those who practice in the area of taxation, whether on a daily basis or on rare occasions.
