Seminar Will Review Environmental Risks In Business Transactions

The DC Bar Association is planning a CLE seminar titled Environmental Risks and Insurance: Scenarios and Solutions.

The program will take place on Thursday, November 15 from 9 to 11:15 a.m. at the DC Bar Conference Center, 1250 H St, NW, Washington, DC.

This course is designed for the environmental, real estate or corporate attorney involved in business transactions that include environmental risks. The class will provide a brief overview of local DC environmental laws and federal environmental laws as they relate to the due diligence phase of contaminated property acquisitions, or business transactions that have idle or tainted assets.

The program chair is Brett McGovern, XL Insurance.
