Seminar Will Probe Healthcare Crisis

The Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI) will present a CLE seminar titled The Healthcare Crisis.

The program, will take place on Thursday, July 12 from noon to 2 p.m. at the CLE Conference Center, Wanamaker Building, Juniper Street, Philadelphia. The seminar also will be broadcast live via videoconference at the PBI Conference Center, 5080 Ritter Road, Mechanicsburg, PA.

The faculty for this PBI public policy program will examine the healthcare crisis in the United States and will review both state and federal efforts at legislation that would change these sobering statistics. They will also look outside the United States at healthcare models from other countries.

Among the speakers are Frank M. McClellan, professor, Temple University School of Law; David B. Nash, MD, Thomas Jefferson University, and Ann S. Torregrossa, Gov. Edward G. Rendell's Office of Healthcare Reform,
