Seminar Will Outline Lawyer's Role In Transformation Of The Corporation

The North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) will present a CLE seminar titled The New Reality of Business: The Lawyer's Active Role in the Transformation of the Corporation.

The program will take place on Wednesday, January 16 from 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the NC Bar Center, 8000 Weston Parkway, Cary, NC. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m.

Discussion topics will include: Introduction to Accounting; Advanced Accounting Principles; Financial Statement Analysis; Introduction to Corporate Finance; Advanced Topics in Corporate Finance; The Lawyer's Role in Corporate Marketing; Advising the Company on Market Strategy, and Operational Concepts and Management Strategy - Proactive Counseling.

The speaker is Edward S. Adams, co-director of the Kommerstad Center for Business Law and Entrepreneurship, University of Minnesota Law School.
