Seminar Will Outline ConsiderationsFor Investing In Canadian Energy

The Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel America and the firm of Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP this month will present a CLE seminar titled Securing U.S. Energy Supplies: Investing in Canada's Resources.

The program will take place on Tuesday, November 14 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Four Seasons Hotel, 57 East 57th Street, New York City.

As the leading foreign supplier of natural gas, oil and electricity to the U.S., and with geographic proximity, Canada has been identified as a reliable and secure source of U.S. energy supplies. At this session, legal and business experts will update corporate counsel on important considerations for investing in Canada, including current energy projects and opportunities, foreign investment regulations, associated risks, and environmental concerns. Fraser Milner speakers also will provide insight into the Canadian political arena as it affects energy investment decisions.
