The State Bar of Arizona is planning a CLE seminar titled New E-Filing Requirements ... How Do I File a Court Pleading Electronically?

The program will take place on Friday, August 17 from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at a Maricopa County, AZ site to be announced.

The session will attempt to answer questions such as: What are the new e-filing rules? How do I file a pleading electronically? What equipment do I need for e-filing and e-practice, and how much will it cost? Can I access full-text electronic versions of filed pleadings, exhibits and orders? Are e-filed documents secure from computer viruses or tampering? Can I significantly reduce paper in a litigation practice? How do I conduct a paperless trial? How will e-filing and e-practice save me time and money?

Among the speakers will be Joe Silberschlag, e-filing training consultant, Maricopa County Superior Court; George Knecht, senior business analyst, Maricopa County Superior Court, and Mohyeddin Abdulaziz, chief information officer, Arizona Court of Appeals.
