Seminar Will Offer Tips On Advising Small, Medium-Sized Businesses

The University of Houston Law Center has scheduled a CLE seminar titled The Legal Aspects of Advising Small- and Mid-Size Businesses.

The seminar will be presented at three sites: on Thursday and Friday, June 12 and 13 at the Hilton University of Houston Hotel, Houston; on Thursday and Friday, June 19 and 20 at the Cityplace Conference Center, Dallas, and on July Thursday and Friday, 24 and 25 at the Norris Conference Center in Austin as a video replay.

This practical, two-day course will explore the essential aspects in the structure, finance, and operationof running small- and mid-size businesses, including buying and selling the business,avoiding employment law claims,raising capital, shareholder agreements and voting trusts,leases, environmental laws, and dissolving the business.
