The Colorado Bar Association is planning a CLE seminar titled 2007 Appellate Practice: Better Writing, Briefing and Argument.
The program will take place on Wednesday, December 12 from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the CBA-CLE Classroom, 1900 Grant Street, Denver. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
The featured speaker will be the Hon. John R. Webb, judge of the Colorado Court of Appeals. He will focus on issues including: evaluating the merits and risks of an appeal; keys to clearer and more effective writing; secrets to a brief that helps the court decide the case, and tips on the most persuasive oral argument.
