Seminar Will ExploreNon-Verbal Communication

The State Bar of Arizona will present a CLE seminar titled Actions Speak Louder Than Words ... A Seminar on Non-Verbal Communication.

The program is scheduled for Thursday, August 23 from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at The Manning House, 450 West Paseo Redondo, Tucson, AZ.

Attendees can expect to learn: what questions you can ask to induce truthfulness during interviews; how personality type will affect your questioning approach of a key opposition witness; how to tell if you're reaching the jury and/or judge during your opening statement and closing argument; what steps are involved in jury selection, evaluation and maintenance using personality type and body language evaluators, and how to determine what opposing counsel is thinking during negotiations.

Speakers will include Dr. Melinda H. Connor, Laboratory for Advances in Consciousness and Health, University of Arizona, and Jeanna Chandler and Michele Thompson, Chandler & Udall LLP.
