The Bar Association of San Francisco is offering a CLE seminar titled Licensing and Accreditation of California Healthcare Facilities.
The program will take place on Wednesday, November 28 from noon to 1 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street, San Francisco.
The speaker will be Edward Mathes, attorney at law. Among the topics he will address are: the process and pitfalls for obtaining a license and Medicare certification for a general acute care hospital or ambulatory surgery center; strategy issues as they relate to federal reimbursement and general advice regarding the state and federal applications, and legal differences between asset acquisitions and outright acquisitions.
