Seminar Will Explore Internal Investigations Process

Massachusetts CLE will present a CLE seminar titled Conducting and Using Internal Investigations.

The program will take place on Monday, April 30 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the MCLE Conference Center, 10 Winter Place, Boston.

Speakers will give practical advice about conducting internal investigations, identify common mistakes, and explain how to avoid them. The faculty includes employer's lawyers and lawyers who represent employees. The speakers present the employer's and employee's perspectives in every stage of the investigation and further proceedings. They describe best practices in a variety of situations, and how to handle common problems that arise during internal investigations. To emphasize the practical approach, the speakers present a hypothetical claim, which the panel then investigates.

Speakers will be Marylou Varao Fabbo, Skoler, Abbott & Presser, PC; David Rapaport, Davis, Malm & D'Agostine, PC, and David S. Rosenthal, Nixon Peabody LLP.
