The Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel and the firm of Ford & Harrison LLP are planning a CLE seminar titled Lost in New York? A Legal Update for NYS Employers.
The program will take place on Tuesday, March 11 from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at The Yale Club, 50 Vanderbilt Avenue, New York City.
The New York Legislature has been busy enacting new laws and amending old ones that directly affect employers. The session will explore issues such as lactation breaks, restricted use of Social Security numbers, and new limits on background checks.
Speakers will include Maryrose Maness, senior assistant general counsel, Altria, and William Carmell and Philip Davidoff, Ford & Harrison.
