Seminar Will Examine Patent Litigation

The Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Patent Litigation Summit.

The program will take place on Thursday, November 15 from 8:40 a.m. to 4:35 p.m. at the ICLEF Conference Facility, 230 East Ohio Street, Indianapolis, IN.

Panelists will address topics including: Hot Topics in Patent Litigation; Ethical Issues Arising in Patent Litigation; Solutions in Solving Patent Litigation Problems; Evidentiary Issues Related to Patent Litigation; Interaction Between In-House and Outside Counsel, and Intricacies Associated With "Rocket Dockets," Interaction Between Law Firms and the Court in Patent Discovery and Litigation, and Challenges to the Bench Created by Patent Cases and Judicial Pet Peeves.

The program chair is Holiday W. Banta, Woodard, Emhardt, Moriarty McNett & Henry LLP. Among the speakers are James P. Leeds, associate general patent counsel, Eli Lilly and Company; the Hon. Barbara B. Crabb, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the Hon. Paul J. Luckern, judge of the U.S. International Trade Commission.
