Seminar Will Examine Outside Counsel Diversity Programs

The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Diversity in the Legal Profession: Perspectives on Diverse Outside Counsel Programs.

The session will take place on Tuesday, January 15 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street, San Francisco. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m.

Speakers will attempt to answer questions such as: Why and how are corporations designing and implementing outside counsel programs? How are large and small firms responding to outside counsel programs? Are these outside counsel programs effective in promoting diversity within the legal profession?

Speakers will include Laurie Edelstein, Brune & Richard LLP; Sanford Hartman, vice president and managing director, Pacific Gas & Electric Company, and Raymond C. Marshall, Bingham McCutchen LLP.
