Seminar Will Examine OptionsFor Managing Interest Rate Risk

Managing Interest Rate Risk is the title of a CLE seminar scheduled by the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

The program will take place on Wednesday, May 16 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the LACBA Conference Center, 281 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles. Registration for the seminar begins at 11:45 a.m.

This program will discuss various financial products that are commonly used to manage interest rate risk in real estate finance transactions, including lender-embedded rate lock agreements, interest rate caps, interest rate swaps and forward rate lock agreements. Panel members also will discuss underwriting considerations and the responsibilities of counsel representing lenders and borrowers in the selection and purchase of these financial products and in the documentation and implementation of interest rate hedging transactions.
