Seminar Will Examine Legal Issues In Communications Technologies

The Washington Metropolitan Area Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel America (WMACCA) will present a Cle seminar titled WMACCA Employment and Labor Forum: Wired in the Workplace - Challenges Posed by Electronic Communications Devices and New Media.

The program will take place on Thursday, October 11 from noon to 2 p.m. at Maggiano's Little Italy, 2001 International Drive, McLean, VA.

Among the technologies the program will examine are cell phones, BlackBerrys, camera phones and other photographic and memory devices, email and Internet use, and blogging. The program will examine the legal issues raised by such devices and technologies, and strategies for handling the legal and management challenges posed.

Speakers will be Dan Westerman and Ann Stevens, Morrison & Foerster LLP, and Susan Dunnings and Angeline Chen, Lockheed Martin Corporation.
