Seminar Will Examine Insurance Issues

The New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) will present its 2007 Insurance Coverage Update.

The program will take place on Wednesday, May 16 at the New Yorker Hotel, 481 Eighth Avenue, New York City, and on Friday, May 18 at the Hilton Long Island/Huntington, 598 Broadhollow Road, Melville, NY. Sessions run from 9 a.m. to 4:10 p.m.

Discussion topics will include: The Broad Evidence Rule; Mortgagee Claims; Quarterbacking the Arson Investigation; Appraisal Rights Under the Standard Fire Policy; Bad Faith in the Context of First-Party Claims; Municipal Demolition Liens; Business Interruption and Extra Expense Insurance Coverage; Ethical Considerations, and Top 10 New Cases/Developments.
