Seminar Will Examine Compliance ProgramsIn Small- To Medium-Sized Companies

The New York City Bar Association has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Corporate Compliance: Implementing a Compliance Program for the Small & Medium Sized Company.

The program will take place on Tuesday, October 23 from 9 a.m. to noon at the House of the Association, 42 West 44th Street, New York City.

Compliance programs are most often associated with large corporations. But experience has shown that the overwhelming number of companies with compliance failures are small or medium sized. This seminar will present practical approaches and case studies to assist you in implementing - in an efficient and effective manner - compliance programs for small- and-medium sized organizations, both for profit and not for profit.

The program chair is Jeffrey M. Kaplan, Kaplan & Walker LLP. Other speakers will be James B. Mintz, president, The James Mintz Group, and Richard J. Paley, general counsel, Cary Financial, LLC.
