The Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel America and the firm of Dechert LLP are preparing a CLE seminar titled Whole Foods Markets Acquisition of Wild Oats Markets - A Seminar With the Whole Foods Antitrust Team.
The program will take place on Wednesday, November 7 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Dechert offices, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York City.
Whole Foods Markets Inc.'s General Counsel Roberta Lang will join Dechert partners Paul Denis, Paul Friedman, Jeffrey Brennan, James Fishkin and Michael Farber to discuss how they effectuate one of the most noteworthy antitrust sensitive mergers of the year. The seminar will focus on the tactics that the Dechert team employed to defeat a Federal Trade Commission motion for a preliminary injunction against the opposed acquisition.
