Seminar To Take A Close Look At The Transactional Process

The State Bar of Arizona this month will present a CLEseminar titled Closing the Deal ... and Beyond.

The program will take place on Friday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Arizona State University Center at the Mercado, 502 East Monroe, Phoenix.

The day will cover a multidisciplinary analysis of the apparent growing trend of claims against lawyers when deals go bad. A panel will take a highly interactive approach to the transactional process, post-closing finger pointing and claims against attorneys by non-clients. A CPA will discuss tax and financial accounting issues, ethical concerns will be covered and a former superior court presiding judge will provide insights into the judicial perspective on litigating business disputes.

The program co-chairs are Robert A. Royal, Tiffany & Bosco PA, and James P. O'Sullivan, Gammage & Burnham PLC.
