Seminar To Review Litigation Best Practices

The Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) this month is planning a CLE seminar titled Large Law Firms and Corporate Legal Department Best Practice Seminar - Leveraging Discovery Review Technologies, Part 1.

The program will take place on Tuesday, February 6 from 5:30 to 9:15 p.m. at the LACBA Conference Center, 281 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles. Registration begins at 5 p.m.

This session highlights the best practices for corporate counsel and large law firm litigators who find themselves drowning in paper and electronic discovery: both external party materials, and their own. Speakers will discuss local and hosted solutions available that are as simple to use as an e-mail program yet as robust as a SQL database.

Panelists will explore the legal, technical and ethical issues that face the corporate litigator in today's environment when faced with producing and reviewing disparate evidence such as electronic data, paper records, transcripts and instant messaging.

The featured speaker is Alexander H. Lubarsky, Class Consultants.
