Seminar To Present A One-Year Review Of Vital Environmental Decision

On June 4, the DC Bar Association will present Massachusetts v. EPA: 1 Year Later. The program will begin at noon and conclude at 2 p.m. at Hunton & Williams, 1900 K Street, Washington, DC.

A year has passed since the Supreme Court rendered its landmark decision in Massachusetts v. EPA, which upheld the EPA's authority to regulate greenhouse gas emissions under the Clean Air Act. The seminar will consider the many important events that took place at the state, EPA, and congressional levels in the year since that decision.

Robert Sussman, Senior Fellow, Center for American Progress will moderate the program, and panelists including David Bookbinder, Sierra Club and Roger Martella, General Counsel, EPA, will discuss the legacy of this ruling, and what is at stake for business and the environment.
