Seminar To Offer Tips On Making Attorneys Better Managers

The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) is planning a CLE seminar titled Attorneys as Managers - An Oxymoron or Required Skill Set?

The program will take place on Tuesday, October 23 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street, San Francisco.

Attorneys often find themselves in the position of managing others, but usually with little or no formal management training. This program will provide solutions, pointers and tips on: how to create the best teams, how to delegate effectively and efficiently, how to communicate for the best results, and how to balance your own work with supervisory responsibilities.

Speakers will be Dennis Herrera, city attorney of San Francisco; Kim Rivera, vice president and associate general counsel, The Clorox Company, and Eliza M. Rodrigues, Thomas Whitelaw & Tyler LLP.
