Seminar To Offer Advice On Renewed H-1B Filings

The Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) this month will present a CLE seminar titled H-1Bs - Get Ready, Get Set ... for April 1st.

The program will take place on Saturday, February 17 from 9 to 11:45 a.m. at the LACBA Conference Center, 281 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

This seminar is considered particularly timely with upcoming H-1B filings beginning on April 1 after a nearly year-long hiatus. Experts will offer advice on preparing approvable H1-Bs, focusing on considerations such as AC21, offer letters, small company petitioners, job descriptions, avoiding the gap with alternatives to H-1Bs, preparing for consular processing or change of status, updates on CIS processing and trends in adjudications. Time will be allotted for individual questions.

Speakers will be Katherine Haight, Law Offices of Katherine Haight, and Bernie Wolfsdorf, Wolfsdorf Immigration Law Group.
