Seminar To Focus On Environmental Enforcement

The Bar Association of San Francisco is planning a CLE seminar called Environmental Enforcement 2008: Spills, Leaks, and Discharges? Oh, No! Discovering, Reporting, and Disclosing Toxic Releases.

The session is scheduled for Wednesday, June 18 from noon until 1:30 p.m.Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. at the BASF conference center, located at 301 Battery Street in San Francisco.

Three speakers will discuss current issues in environmental enforcement, including recent railroad and pipeline spills, reportable quantity, how to report spills, who should know about a spill, and the reporting disclosure of historic releases.

Speaking about the issue are Brett J. Morris, deputy attorney general, State of California; Catherine W. Johnson, Wendel Rosen Black & Dean LLP, and James Arnold, The Arnold Law Practice.
