The Atlanta Bar Association is planning a CLE seminar titled Summary Judgment on My Mind: Pre-Trial Strategies and Tactics From the Pros.
The program will take place on Friday and Saturday, March 7 and 8 at the Emerald Pointe Resort and Conference Center at Lake Lanier Islands, GA.
Panelists will examine topics such as: internal complaints: first chance to set up summary judgment; using the EEOC process to achieve summary judgment goals; building up to summary judgment through pleadings and discovery; reality check: former federal clerks provide an inside view of summary judgment; sword and shield: creative uses of summary judgment motions; where the rubber hits the road: drafting summary judgment papers, and ADR with summary judgment in mind.
