Seminar To Examine Texas Water Rights

The State Bar of Texas is offering a video replay of its 8th Annual Changing Face of Water Rights in Texas.

The program will take place Thursday and Friday, August 2 and 3 at the Texas Tech University School of Law, 1802 Hartford Ave, Lubbock, TX. Sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the first day and from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the second day.

The programs addresses topics such as: Case Law Update: Groundwater and Surface Water; Impacts of Groundwater Protection on Land Use; Groundwater and Surface Water Modeling; Dealing With Drought: The Meteorological Perspective; Dealing With Drought: Water Rights Enforcement; State Water Plan Update, and Assessing the Economic Impacts of Water Transfers.

The course director is Hunter Wyatt Buckhalter, Kemp Smith.
