Seminar To Examine Environmental Issues From The EPA's Perspective

The Environmental Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association (CBA) this month is planning a CLE seminar titled EPA Speaks.

The program will take place on Wednesday, April 11 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the EPA Region 8 Conference Center, 1595 Wynkoop Street, Denver.

Panelists will address topics such as: Environmental Enforcement in Colorado and Beyond; Environmental Crimes; Navigating the CWA After Rapanos and SWANCC; The Use of Alternative Dispute Resolution Inside EPA; Air Enforcement, and Brownfields, Aviall and the Future of Superfund.

Among the speakers are Eddie Sierra, acting assistant regional administrator, Office of Enforcement, Compliance & Environmental Justice, U.S. EPA Region 8; Robert E. Roberts, regional administrator, U.S. EPA Region 8; Grant Nakayama, assistant administrator, Office of Enforcement & Compliance Assurance, U.S. EPA, and Carol Rushin, assistant regional administrator, Office of Ecosystems Protection & Remediation, U.S. EPA Region 8.
