Seminar To Cover Variety Of Tax Issues

The State Bar of California Taxation Section has scheduled its 2007 Annual Income/Other Tax Seminar.

The program will take place on Friday, June 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:05 p.m. at the Golden Gate University School of Law, 536 Mission Street, San Francisco.

The discussion topics will include; Domestic Partnership - A Review of the Tax Issues Concerning Domestic Partnerships; The Privileged Few: Maintaining Confidential Information While Working With Others; Federal Tax Collection Update - The Rules Have Changed; Do You Really Know It When You See It? Conflict of Interest Rules Under the California Rules of Professional Conduct, the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct and Treasury Circular 230, and Tax Planning for Venture Capital Investments.

Among the speakers are Bradley R. Marsh, Winston & Strawn; G. Michelle Ferreira, Greenberg Traurig LLP, and Karen L. Hawkins, Taggart & Hawkins.
