Seminar To Cover Real Estate Issues

The State Bar of Georgia is planning a two-day CLE program titled Real Property Law Institute.

The seminar will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, August 8 and 9 at the Marriott Gwinnett Place Hotel, 1-85 at Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth, GA.Sessions run from 8:20 a.m. to 3:35 p.m. on day one and from 8:25 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on day two.

Among the discussion topics to be covered over the two days are: Judicial Update With Trial Practice Pointers; International Paper Sale; Ethical and Other Issues Related to Opinion Letters; Mortgage Fraud and Related Litigation Issues; Professionalism in Real Estate Closings; Issues in Mixed-Use Development and Changes in the Condo Act; Pro Bono for Real Property Attorneys, and Update on Real Estate Income Tax Issues.

The program chair is Edward P. Hudson, chairperson-elect of the State Bar of Georgia Real Property Law Section.
