Seminar To Cover Copyright Basics

The New York County Lawyers' Association (NYCLA) has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Copyright Law and Practice for the General Practitioner.

The program will take place on Tuesday, September 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the NYCLA Home of Law, 14 Vesey Street, New York City.

Attendees will learn about the basics of copyright law and practice, including assignments, licensing, recording security interests, dealing with the Copyright Office, pre-litigation due diligence and litigation.

Speakers will be Raymond J. Dowd, Dunningham, Barthlow & Miller, LLP, and Joseph Peterson, Kilpatrick Stockton LLP.
