Seminar Focus:Being A Better Mediator

How to Be an Effective Advocate in Mediation is the title of a CLE seminar planned by the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF).

The program will take place on Thursday, January 10 from 4 to 5:45 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street, San Francisco. Registration begins at 3:30 p.m.

Discussion topics will include: Understand What a Mediation is All About; Prepare Your Client for the Mediation; How to Convince the Other Side to Come to the Mediation Table; Get the Information You Need to Mediate Early; Don't Delay and Don't Contribute to Delay; How to Best Use Your Experts; Selecting the Best Mediator for Your Case; Prepare the Mediator; The Importance of Diplomacy and Civility, and Recognizing When the Best Deal is on the Table.

The speaker will be Guy O. Kornblum, Guy Kornblum & Associates.
