The State Bar of Texas has scheduled its 4th Annual Advanced Workers' Compensation Course.
The program will take place on Thursday and Friday, August 30 and 31 at the Austin Convention Center, 500 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, TX. Sessions will run from 8:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the first day and from 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the second day.
Discussion topics will include: Case Law Update; Statutes, Legislation & Rules Update; Overview of Constitutional Considerations; Use and Limits on Declaratory Judgment Actions in Workers' Compensation; Administrative Violations; Barratry 101; Motion Practice, and Dispute Resolution and the Guidelines.
The course director is Stuart D. Colburn, Downs - Stanford.
