Seminar Focus: Using Law And Economics In Case Analysis

The Bar Association of San Francisco this month will present a CLE seminar titled Confessions of a Law and Economic Disciple and What I Learned That Judge Posner Did Not Teach Me.

The program is scheduled for Thursday, March 22 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at The Bankers Club, 555 California Street, San Francisco.

The featured speaker is the Hon. Vaughn Walker, chief judge of the U.S. District Court for Northern California. He will discuss how law and economics can be a useful analytic tool in many kinds of cases, including securities and antitrust cases, but sometimes difficult to apply in actual cases.
