Seminar Focus: Unique Aspects Of Lawyering In The Corporate World

The Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel and Axiom are offering a CLE seminar titled Switching Gears: Reorienting Yourself to Be an Effective In-House Attorney.

The program will take place on Tuesday, March 25 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at a New York site to be announced. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m.

During this program, attendees will learn how to orient themselves to become a business lawyer as panelists address: selecting outside counsel, budgeting, creating successful relationships with your business clients, case management, career path, ethical considerations in-house, risk assessment, problem solving, and connecting with your client's business and business environment.

Speakers will be Mechelle Evans, corporate counsel, Axiom; Edward Klaris, general counsel, Conde Nast Publications, and Richard Neuwirth, general counsel, TwinLab.
