Seminar Focus: Restructuring Problem Loans

The New York County Bar Association is planning a CLE seminar titled Real Estate Workouts - Restructuring the Problem Loan.

The program will take place on Monday, February 11 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the House of the Association, 42 West 44th Street, New York City.

With real estate markets in flux, now is the time to learn about real estate loan "workouts" - the process of restructuring problem real estate loans. Panelists will provide an overview of the bankruptcy process and will discuss when restructuring loan obligations is a viable option and how to restructure loans for borrowers in financial difficulty.

The program chair is Richard A. Nardi, Loeb & Loeb LLP. Other speakers will include William Gardner, Loeb & Loeb; Joseph P. Forte, Alston & Bird LLP, and Robert Wolf, Bryan Cave LLP.
