Seminar Focus: Pitfalls To Avoid In Cases Headed For Appeal

The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) will present a CLE seminar titled The Seven Deadly Sins in a Case Headed for Appeal.

The program will take place on Thursday, May 22 from noon to 1:45 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street, San Francisco. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m.

Discussion topics will include: Avoid Trial Court Mistakes That Waive Issues for Appeal; Identify Rulings You Must Appeal (or Writ) Long Before Judgment; Exhaust Trial Court Procedures to Preserve Issues for Appeal, and Understand Events That Alter Appeal Deadlines.

Speakers will be Laurie J. Hepler, Carroll, Burdick & McDonough LLP, and T. Peter Pierce, Richards, Watson & Gershon PC.
