Seminar Focus: Ethical Issues In Protecting The 'Corporate Family'

The Corporate Law Department of the Bar Association of San Francisco will present a CLE seminar titled Protecting the "Corporate Family": Ethical Issues and Rules.

The program will take place on Tuesday, January 15 from 11 a.m. to noon at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street, San Francisco. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m.

Discussion topics will include: corporate family conflicts, including legal standards and ethical considerations in defining the family; outside counsel guidelines: the good, the bad and the ugly, including what typical guidelines look like and the ethical permissibility of these guidelines, and conflicts created by mergers and acquisitions - what are the rules?

The speaker will be Pamela Phillip, Howard Rice Nemerovski Canady Falk & Rabkin.
