The New York City Bar Association and the Suffolk University Law School New York Alumni Chapter are jointly sponsoring a CLE seminar titled Practical Strategies for Avoiding Conflicts.
The program will take place on Wednesday, June 27 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the House of the Association, 42 West 44th Street, New York City.
Among the discussion topics will be When Do Ethical and Fiduciary Obligations to Avoid Conflicts Attach? To Whom Do You Owe the Duty to Avoid Conflicts? Applicable Rules/Analysis - Concurrent Clients, Former Clients, Non-Lawyers and Lawyer's Own Interests, and Best Practices in Conflict Checking - Entity/Subsidy Relationships Imputation and Migratory Lawyers, and Non-Lawyers.
