Seminar Focus: Appearing Before Texas Supreme Court

The State Bar of Texas this month is planning a CLE seminar titled Practice Before the Texas Supreme Court.

The program will take place on Friday, April 27 from 8:55 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. at the Omni Hotel Downtown, 700 San Jacinto Boulevard, Austin, TX. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

Expert practitioners will offer practical advice on issues such as: Drafting an Effective Petition for Review; Strategies for Replaying to a Petition for Review, and Mandamus: When Is There an Adequate Remedy at Law? Supreme Court justices themselves will discuss upcoming procedure and evidence rules changes.

Attendees also will gain insight into three other "hot" areas: Enforcement of Arbitration Clauses, Increasing Use of Federal Authorities, and Evolving Notions of "No Evidence."
