Massachusetts CLE is planning a CLE program, titled Government Law for Business Lawyers.
The program will take place on Thursday, May 10 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the MCLE Conference Center, 10 Winter Place, Boston.
Featuring a panel of the state's leading experts in government law, this seminar provides an overview of the Massachusetts procurement laws, public records and open meeting laws, ethical issues, and lobbying and campaign finance laws in an open discussion format. More than just "what is," this seminar focuses on "how to" best use government law to create opportunity and advantage for business clients.
Whether a corporation is seeking to tap into the billions of dollars contracted for annually by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, involved in litigation with a state agency, or attempting to do or undo a municipal board action, or influence legislation, this format presents hands on pointers for achieving the client's business goals.
